The concept of reception and cultural transfer includes among others the work of cultural transmitters - literary translators, publishers, critics, teachers and university professors, travelers, actors, priests etc - analyses of criticism of literary translations and essays published on the received works in newspapers and literary journals. Also, ideological problems of cultural transfer play an essential role. Research is being done on how a certain literary work arrives to the target culture, what kind of changes its meaning undergoes and what is the role of cultural transmitters in all these processes of cultural transfer.
